Insurance Overview

YourServices.ie provides limited property damage insurance coverage for all bookings made through our platform. This insurance is designed to protect customers against accidental property damage caused by cleaners during the course of their work.

Per incident, subject to terms and conditions

What IS Covered

  • Accidental Property Damage

    Breakage or damage to household items caused accidentally by the cleaner during their work

  • Broken Items

    Vases, ornaments, electronics, furniture, and similar household items accidentally broken during cleaning

  • Surface Damage

    Scratches or damage to surfaces (floors, countertops, furniture) caused during cleaning activities

What is NOT Covered

Please read carefully. The following are explicitly excluded from coverage:

  • Theft or Loss

    Missing items, stolen property, or any form of theft is NOT covered. This includes cash, jewelry, electronics, or any other valuables that go missing.

  • Personal Injury

    Any bodily injury, physical harm, or personal injury to the customer, cleaner, or any third party is NOT covered.

  • Medical Expenses

    Hospital bills, doctor visits, pharmacy costs, ambulance fees, or any medical-related expenses are NOT covered.

  • Accidents & Injuries

    Slip and fall accidents, cuts, burns, or any other accidents occurring during or after the cleaning service are NOT covered.

  • Pre-existing Damage

    Damage that existed before the cleaning service began is NOT covered.

  • Wear and Tear

    Normal wear and tear, aging, or gradual deterioration of items is NOT covered.

  • Items Without Proof of Value

    Claims for items where the customer cannot provide original purchase receipt, invoice, or other proof of value.

  • Consequential Losses

    Loss of income, business interruption, emotional distress, or any indirect damages are NOT covered.

  • Pet-Related Incidents

    Any damage to pets, injury from pets, or pet-related incidents are NOT covered.

How to Make a Claim

Report Immediately

Contact YourServices.ie within 24 hours of discovering the damage. Late reports may not be eligible for coverage.

Document the Damage

Take clear photos of the damaged item(s) from multiple angles. Keep the damaged item until the claim is processed.

Provide Proof of Purchase

Submit the original receipt, invoice, or bank statement showing the purchase price of the damaged item. Claims without proof of value will be denied.

Submit Claim Form

Complete our online claim form with all required information and supporting documents.

Claim Review

Our team will review your claim within 5-7 business days. You will be notified of the decision via email.

Important Notice

  • • This insurance is provided by YourServices.ie and is not a third-party insurance policy.
  • • Coverage is limited to €300 maximum per incident, regardless of the actual value of the damaged item.
  • • Depreciation will be applied based on the age and condition of the item.
  • • YourServices.ie reserves the right to deny any claim that does not meet our terms and conditions.
  • • Filing a fraudulent claim will result in permanent account termination and may be reported to authorities.
  • • This coverage only applies to bookings made and paid through the YourServices.ie platform.
